Measure Floor Plans Online

Turn a drawing into a measurable workspace without opening full CAD software. The ArchiTeamTools measurement tool lets you calibrate an uploaded plan from one known dimension, then place clean dimension lines directly on the drawing.

Built for a fast architecture workflow

  • Upload JPG, PNG, WEBP or PDF drawings
  • Calibrate from a known real-world length
  • Measure multiple distances in m, cm, mm, ft or in
  • Choose architectural, CAD arrow, tick or minimal dimension styles
  • Export an annotated PNG when you are finished

How to use it in practice

If a known wall on the drawing is 4.20 m long, use that wall for calibration. After calibration, every new measured line is converted from image pixels into the selected real-world unit using the same scale.

How to use Measure Floor Plans Online

  1. 1

Upload the floor plan or site image you want to measure.

  2. 2

Choose Calibrate, click the two ends of a known dimension and enter its real length.

  3. 3

Switch to Distance and click the endpoints of each measurement you need.

  4. 4

Adjust line style, marker, text size or offset, then export the annotated drawing.

Common questions

Can I measure a PDF floor plan?

Yes. The measurement workspace accepts images and PDF drawings, then lets you calibrate the displayed plan before measuring.

Do I need to know the drawing scale?

Not necessarily. If the drawing contains one reliable known dimension, you can calibrate from that real length instead of manually entering a scale.

Are uploaded drawings saved to my account?

The current measurement workflow is designed to process uploaded plan files in the browser. Export your annotated image separately if you need a permanent copy.
